The characters were well developed. Mercy Perching is recruited to visit the Sanctuary of Americas where scientists have had some success with human-animal hybrids who are immune to the virus. Unfortunately, a new mutation now threatens Children of the Miracle destroy humans and hybrids, perhaps permanently. She said 'I know, I told them that there must be a mistake with the test'. As a result, the events of that May 16th not only showed the dark depths of humanity — but also the bright potential of faith.

When Colmerauer left Montreal in 1970 to take up a faculty position in the University of Aix-Marseille, he assembled a small group to develop a question-answering system in French.

She has discovered a gene in an animal that is resistant to the Fissilflu and she wants to take out that specific gene in humans and replace with the one in the animal.

As the story progresses to its shocking climax, the reader is found hoping for the ability to save humanity… but how much, and at what cost?
