Anyone ever read Harry Olson's Elements of acoustical engineering?

It is Elements of acoustical engineering to determine a best test method. Hard not to just dismiss him. OLSEN is in an authoritative position for dealing with the subject of acoustical engineering, and his book will be specially useful to those concerned with acoustics from the point of view of the engineer. Install treatments although not specifically stated. I tend to mostly ignore statements like this as marketing, but what made this statement more compelling - at least to me - was that he actually cited a source, "Elements of acoustical engineering" - Harry Olson.

Mechanical isolation is achieved by independent support of the paral- lel panels no structural couplingand acoustical isolation is achieved by increased air space between the panels. 5 and computing the TL deficiencies differences in measured TL and curve value in each of the 24 one-third octave bands. 5 Noise Effects The FAA has accepted the DNL metric exclusively to assess and evaluate Elements of acoustical engineering noise expo- sure in SIPs. It is currently used by a single acoustical consulting firm, and only general information about the procedure has been made publicly available.

I don't have a digital version, but the recent book on horns by Kolbrek and Dunker show measurements of this behaviour. Finally, time-domain "accuracy" or "smearing" have never been shown to be a prime factor in loudspeaker design.
