Several attacks Belleza mortal and when Blair tries to tell Wyatt, he, for whatever reason, doesn't believe her, something that seems almost criminally stupid on his part in light of her attack-by-Buick. He has a total Jackass-ish moment in this book that made my heart drop, but it worked.
The 1st book is "To Die For". [Actually, obvious is not quite the right word -- easy, convenient, and overly coincidental also apply. I rated both of these books as 1 star because I disliked the Blair character so much. Amazing, amazing romance with suspense twist that not too much yet enough to make readers' heart race. I read her entire backlist and auto-bought her new releases. One thing both had in common was crazy exes. Sad to say, since Mr.
I mean what are the odds that both Wyatt and Blair have psychotic ex-spouses who want to kill Blair? Belleza mortal there was a book about these two that came before this one but as the synopsis reads like an exact copy of this book I'm sure not going out of my way to search it out.
Or more precisely, a Buick. Blair is just adorably different than the normal character. Make it stony and harmless.
I liked the chemistry between the two of them, especially towards the end when he snaps at her. Can's say enough about how much I loved "Blair Mallory" character. I picked up the first book after putting it down for 2 times, because I love Linda Howard's books and I had faith on her writing :D.
That endless banter that goes on in her mind, justifying her reasoning for her thinking, is so funny.

I found it to be a fun read and a good addition to the series.
